Following your visit for team coaching last week I have taken it upon myself to try and implement new styles of thinking into my approach when speaking with customers. I have already seen results of this with a client this week and look to improve on this further in future meetings. I see myself and my team growing in confidence after all our meetings, and the results speak for themselves. Finally, it was great to see you get everyone contributing in the group coaching and talking confidently about their strengths and weaknesses. By addressing these, I can already see a difference in their mind set and their confidence with how they see their job role changing. The team is fully engaged and raring to go so I have no doubt Weighing Scales Ltd will continue to be a growing success.

Before joining the Peer Networks programme I had never had any formal coaching. I had joined in a leadership workshop in one of my previous roles, touching on coaching techniques, but I had never had anything focusing on myself before. When I was first offered the sessions I will be honest I was a little dubious. I didn’t really know what to expect, and didn’t think I really had anything to talk about. How wrong I was!

Paul was very welcoming at my first session and the conversation soon flowed – with Paul gently directing my stream of consciousness toward tangible discussion points. I learned a lot about myself in these sessions. They allowed me the time to work through my thoughts with subtle guidance and sometimes challenges to make me dig a little deeper into what I really wanted to achieve and what I might need to do to get there.

My coaching sessions with Paul were an ideal extension to the Peer Network Programme group sessions, exploring more personally where issues might be arising, and how I could steer situations to achieve the outcomes that I wanted. The sessions really helped to clarify a way forward for my own career and I cannot thank and recommend Paul enough for guiding me to unravel some of the chaos and forge a clear path for my future.

So all in all, a good few hours well spent!
