Before joining the Peer Networks programme I had never had any formal coaching. I had joined in a leadership workshop in one of my previous roles, touching on coaching techniques, but I had never had anything focusing on myself before. When I was first offered the sessions I will be honest I was a little dubious. I didn’t really know what to expect, and didn’t think I really had anything to talk about. How wrong I was!

Paul was very welcoming at my first session and the conversation soon flowed – with Paul gently directing my stream of consciousness toward tangible discussion points. I learned a lot about myself in these sessions. They allowed me the time to work through my thoughts with subtle guidance and sometimes challenges to make me dig a little deeper into what I really wanted to achieve and what I might need to do to get there.
